Richard is through to the main draw at the Tennis Masters in Hambourg, as he comfortably overcame Sanguinetti 6-1, 6-2.

In the first round of Hamburg, he will face the big serving Croatian, Ivo Karlovic. The two have never played before at an ATP or Grand Slam event.

Gasquet has been placed in the same section of the draw as number two seed Andy Roddick and the number 6 seed, Rafael Nadal. Live scores will be available on the Official Hamburg website
