After his marathon match against Verdasco, Richard had an easier run today against Hrbaty. Richard won in straight sets 6-3, 6-2.

In the third round, Richard will play Ivan Ljubicic. That match is scheduled third up on Court Centrale on Thursday. Richard and Benneteau are also in doubles action as they face Erlich/Ram last on Court Centrale. See Thursday's order of play

Richard played a solid game today, and dominated on his first serve, winning 75% of the points.

He also returned well, winning almost half of the points on Hrbaty's serve.
