Richard and his doubles partner, Julien Benneteau are through to the quarter-finals in the Pacific Life Open doubles event. On Wednesday they defeated Dlouhy/Skoch 6-3, 7-6(5).

Next up is the number seven seeds, Knowle/Melzer. The quarter-final clash is scheduled for third on Stadium Court 1. Thursday's order of play
