Richard has been picked to play for France in next weekend's Davis Cup tie against Romania.

Joining Richard in the team are Clement, Grosjean and Llodra.

Captained by Guy Forget, the French have a home tie. Favouring a hard-court surface, they will face the Romanians at Clermont-Ferrand.

The Romanian team is Pavel, Hanescu, Crivoi and Tecau.

This will be Richard's sixth appearance for France.
