The draw for the 2007 Davis Cup competition was made today, at the Foro Italico in Rome.

Seeded seventh, France have drawn a home tie against Romania.

The weekend's activities take place on 9-11th February, 2007. France have the choice of ground and surface.

France has had recent success in Davis Cup, making the final in 2002, and winning the tournament in 2001. With a strong team, capable of playing on all surfaces, France will be looking to repeat those runs in 2007.
