Richard defeated Carlos Berlocq 6-1 6-1 6-1. His next opponent will be Grigor Dimitrov.

Richard came out guns blazing and stormed over the Argentine in the first set. After Berlocq had tried thee dropshots and never won the point on them he never played a dropshot again in the whole match.

Berlocq could not compete with Richard and made a lot of errors in the second set. In the third, the Argentine recovered considerably, but never really challenged Richard who took the match 6-1 6-1 6-1.
