Richard scored a convincing 6-3 6-4 victory against Martin Klizan to reach the semis of Eastbourne where he will face the winner of Istomin/Roger-Vasselin.

One break in each set sufficed to give Richard the win over the well-playing Slovak leftie. Richard was consistent on serve and did not panic when he faced breakpoints, one in each set.
