France have been beaten by Russia in the Davis Cup quarter final in Moscow. Russia came from two rubbers to one down to win the tie three to two on a dramatic final day.

Following Richard's defeat to Davydenko, Mathieu was then beaten in three straight sets by Andreev to win the tie for Russia.

Richard can be proud of his performance and will carry the experience into future campaigns
