Marion Bartoli and Richard Gasquet reached the final of the Hopman Cup. Their wins against their Spanish opponents had exactly the same score: 6-2 6-4. Marion defeated Anabel Medina Garrigues and Richard did the same thing to Fernando Verdasco.

The final mixed doubles was not played. France's opponents in Saturday's final are not yet known, but very likely it will be the Czech Republic.
