Richard won the final of the Bordeaux Challenger against his compatriote Mikael Llodra 4-6 6-1 6-4.

In the first set, Llodra used one of his two breakpoints, while Richard could not convert one of the five he had.

Things changed quickly, though: Richard taking his chances in the second and third set, while not giving Llodra any further opportunities and achieving victory after one hour and 50 minutes and gaining 110 ranking points.

His next tournament is Nice, where he will face the Slovak Lukas Lacko in the first round.
