It was a close victory 4-6 6-2 7-5 against Andreas Seppi which set up his QF against John Isner in Belgrade.

Despite scoring the same number of points Richard lost against the giant American 6-2 6-7 3-6 whose 20 aces did the trick.

Richard's next tournament is the Challenger in Bordeaux.
