Richard defeated Agustin Calleri 6-7 6-2 6-3 and will meet Juan Martin Del Potro in the Stuttgart finals. Richard leads the head-to head 1-0.
After an early break in the first set Richard seemed in command and control, but had to accept the rebreak due to some good returning by Calleri. Calleri continued in this vein and won the tie-break.
Richard also started the second set with an early break and this time, Calleri had no answers. Treated at the arm/shoulder, Calleri had to accept another break to lose the set 6-2.
In the third set - again an early break from Richrd, who by now was defintely in control of the match. In spite of wasting some break points, he assured the double break, thus winning the set and the match.
