Andy Murray beat Richard in the forth round of Wimbledon 5-7 3-6 7-6(3) 6-2 6-4.
After a tentative start from both players, Richard took control of the first set, even if it was hard work to finally clinch it. He succeeded in holding an early break to get 2-0 sets up. In the third set, Richard was in command and control, playing superbly. Unfortunately he was broken when serving for the match.He managed to get to a breaker, but lost it 3-7. Murray raced away with the forth set 6-2. While it was getting darker and darker, Murray broke at the start of the final set. Richard fought to stay with him, but could not turn the match around anymore.
From a neutral point of view, it was a great match to watch, as a fan of Richard one has to regret his break point conversion rate (3/18) which finally cost him the match.
