In the first round Richard, who is seeded 27, has been drawn against Philipp Kohlschreiber of Germany. The two have never played before. Gasquet is seeded to meet rival, Rafael Nadal in the third round. Yesterday, British commentator, Mark Petchy, after looking at the draw, tipped Gasquet to make it to the semifinals of Wimbledon!
Richard will play his opening match on Tuesday at Wimbledon.
