Richard and Julien Benneteau's stunning run in the doubles continued today as they defeated Aspelin/Knowle 6-1, 6-4 to advance into the Monte Carlo final.
In the final, they will face number one seeds, Bob and Mike Bryan.
Richard and Julien were in total control in the first set as they did not face a single break point. They had a high 75% first serve and also returned well.
Aspelin/Knowle took an initial advantage in the second set when they went 4-1 up. They were not to win another game though, as Richard and Julien broke back, before capilatising on the momentum to win the match.
