A tough draw for Richard and a possible 2nd round clash with Raonic, that I feel Richard can win also. Looking forward to seeing Richard playing grass and I hope it will be a good tournament for him. How is he feeling these days ?

Sadly no streams today, but a very straightforward win for Richard, who dominated Bolleli 6-1, 6-2 Smile

Richard won his 400th career match today, which is a huge achievement. Only 12 active players have more wins, and of the French, only Santoro and Noah have won more than 400 matches in the Open Era. It's a very, very nice way to start his grass season. Smile

Yes, obviously the scoreboard shows a superb performance today from Richard. I am looking forward to the 2nd round and hopefully on center court. Good Luck Richard in the next round and congrats on your 400 wins. Very Happy

Poor first set from Richard. He played one terrible service game at the start and ser raonic up. He then blew 4 break opportunities and did not return well. His serve just looks weak he is just digging himself into a whole with it.

He played better in the second serving with a bit more pace and some good placement and spin, and played some good points when it mattered.

In the third he served poorly, played poorly and mentally checked out after the frustration of being powerless on raonic's serve. I dont blame him raonic is terrible for the game. Richard played ok in the second but overall he couldnt do anything today without serving flawlessly. Hope for a good wimbledon draw

I have only seen the last half of the second set and the third. He was touching his back again at the end of the match, I hope he is fine. Raonic's serve percentage in the second set were 79 % and 89 % respectively, that is a tough call to break him - for anyone.

Yeah Raonic's serve was unbelievable but Richard had chances but many of them were snuffed out by the serve. Yeah i just hope Richard is fit for Wimbledon.
